Connected Experiences

In this article, we will show you how Connected Experiences work.

The concept of Connected Experiences is having a Main Experience and ‘connecting’ other Experiences that may be related in using the same location or same target audience. Having this feature increases customer awareness and engagement because while they attend an experience, there may also be experiences available for them to see and enjoy.

Establishing a Connected Experiences link

The process of creating experiences remains the same. We have an article related on how to fill out a new experience. Please click here

We will be editing one of our existing experiences that we have already made and creating a connected experience with it.

For example, our main experience in this section is Dallas Cowboys vs Los Angeles Rams. This Experience could have other linked Experiences in different locations or different times which tells the customer that there are other experiences occurring / to watch out for in the future.

Steps
1. In the PAM navigation menu, go to 360 Manager > Experiences

2. Click the edit button to open up an existing experience. (i.e. in this example, we will edit Pre Game Interviews)

3. Find the CONNECTED heading. This is the section we will focus on.

4. Main Experience: Select an experience that will act as the main experience for our (e.g. Pre Game Interviews). In other words, we are connecting Pre Game Interviews with another experience to be the main experience while Pre Game Interviews becomes a sub-experience.

5. Sub-experiences: Select the experience/s that will act as a connected experience (e.g. Pre Game Interviews is the main experience and we will now choose experiences to be the sub-experience)

You now have a choice here. Choosing either Main Experience or Sub-experience automatically disables the other option. Read this section properly as it may be confusing the first time.

6. Scroll down to the bottom and save changes

A friendly reminder that you need to fill in the rest of the experiences information if you are creating a brand new experience or else progress will not be saved.

Main Experience section

By choosing this section, you will make your current experience (the one you are editing right now) become a sub-experience. This will also disable you from making any sub-experience selections for this experience.

2. In the search bar, you can type in the experience that you want to find

3. Alternatively, we will also show you a list of upcoming / active experiences to choose from.
For this article, we will select Dallas Cowboys vs Los Angeles Rams.

4. There is a disclaimer that tells you, once you have selected a main experience, you cannot select sub-experiences.

5. Scroll to the bottom and save changes

6. This is how your Connected Experiences will look like in the Experiences page with the changes we have made

7. Pre Game Interviews is now a sub-experience of Dallas Cowboys vs Los Angeles Rams

Sub-experience section

By choosing this section, you will make your current experience (the one you are editing right now) become the main experience. This will also disable you from making any main experience selections in this current experience.

Making Parent / Child Experiences become Connected Experiences

We will show you how to link experiences from different accounts together as long as they have an established parent / child relationship. This means that the accounts need to be linked together to see the changes appear.
