Screensaver Mode and Header Component

In this article, you will learn to configure settings to customise their screensaver when an interactive kiosk goes into idle mode as well as customising the header component.

What is a screensaver and when does it occur?

Screensaver is a feature that is activated when a kiosk becomes idle. During a prolonged state of idleness, the kiosk transitions into screensaver mode which welcomes customers to the location and encourages them to use the kiosk. This increases engagement, visual appeal and enables users to start from the beginning and saves them from seeing the pages where previous users had stopped using the kiosk on.

The information below includes more details on how to set up and use this feature, the sections have been divided for your convenience, if needed.

We will be changing between these two modes constantly throughout this article.
Please ensure the right mode is selected before proceeding to make changes.
