Setting up your starting location on Map Editor

In this article, we will show you how to set up your starting location on Map Editor. By setting your starting location, you can begin to start creating and building your map content


Steps

Visit the http://geojson.io website

1. Rotate the globe and find your country of origin. Use the Zoom in button to get closer

2. Click on the draw point / location icon

3. Click on the intended point on the map

4. Once you click on a point on the map, a set of coordinates appear on the right-side of the page


5. Hover over the save tab on the left-hand side

6. Click on geojson

A geojson file will be automatically downloaded onto your computer device. Find the file and return to PAM


7. Go to 360 Planner > Map Editor

8. Scroll down to Map Setup section

9. Select Load Geojson/Image

10. Find your geojson file that was downloaded previously and click on it to load it up


Notice that Map Editor receives your coordinates and the starting location on the map has changed

11. Click on the point that appears in the map

12. Change the feature type from imported point to point

13. Save changes

You can begin to start filling up content inside Map Editor once you have found your starting location
