Explorer - How to customise tab section colours

In this article, you will learn how to change the colour of the Explorer tabs when using Explorer.

The Explorer tab sections are the sections at the bottom that you click to go into another area.

(i.e. I will click into Search tab section and the colour changes into blue as you can see on the photo above)

Change Explorer tab section colour

Please be aware that changing the icon colour will also result in the Interactive Kiosk Icon colour changing. This means both areas are affected simultaneously and should always have the same icon colour / tab colour if they are part of the same account

Steps

1. In the PAM navigation menu, go to 360 Planner > Digital Signs

2. Click on Sign Configuration

3. Select Interactive Kiosk

4. Click on the Menu tab when the right-hand settings pop up

5. You cannot change Explore icon colour by default.

6. You can change Search icon colour here: The default is #3385FF

7. You can change Experiences icon colour here: The default is #FF8933

8. You can change Directory icon colour here: The default is #6633FF

9. You can change Promotions icon colour here: The default is #FF3370

10. Save changes

After setting up the icon colours, you will need to lock the scene and activate it, then open up your Explorer link to see the new changes.

We also need to get access to an Explorer link to see the new changes

Accessing Explorer

Steps

1. In the PAM navigation menu, go to 360 Planner > Digital Signs

2. Click on Digital Sign Map tab

3. Search / use the filter and click on an Interactive Kiosk Digital Sign on the map

4. The right-hand settings will pop up so scroll to the bottom and scan the QR code with your smartphone device.

5. Explorer will open up on your phone and you will see the tab sections on the bottom.

6. The default landing page that you have set in the Interactive Kiosk global configuration settings will automatically show the colour since it is selected by default. In this example, it is the Explore tab.

Don’t confuse the Explore tab with Explorer itself

7. Click on another tab section (i.e. Experiences)

8. Notice that the colour has changed because you are on that tab

9. Click on another section (i.e. Directory) to see another colour change

10. The directory section now shows the purple colour because that is where we are currently on.
