Deleting / Unlinking a Tenant from a location
In this article, users will learn how to delete a tenant and unlink a tenant from a location.
How to delete a tenant?
This removes the tenant completely from PAM OS and cannot be recovered once done.
Steps
1. In the PAM navigation menu, go to Dictionary > Tenant Directory
2. Select the bin icon on a specific tenant
HINT: Please be reminded, that tenants linked to a location cannot be deleted until the location is unlinked from that tenant. Information on how to unlink a tenant is explained further below.
3. You will get a pop up where you can select [DELETE] to remove the tenant
How to unlink a tenant from a location?
If you choose to unlink, you still have access to configure the tenant but it will no longer be seen in the Interactive Kiosk or on Explorer.
Steps
1. In the PAM navigation menu, go to 360 Planner > Map Editor
2. Select the location of your tenant on the map OR Search for the location that holds your tenant in the search bar
3. Once the location with your tenant has been selected, remove your tenant by clicking on the X button
4. Save changes
You are able to replace the tenant with another tenant upon removing it from the location. This is up to your discretion if a tenant decides to move out.
