Configuring Experiences

The way Experiences is presented inside Explorer, is influenced by the settings you configure inside PAM OS.

This means Experiences on Explorer will mimic what is set for the Interactive Kiosk as Explorer is the smartphone version of the Interactive Kiosk.

When you make a change in Interactive Kiosk (i.e. decide to create / edit / delete an Experience called Bruno Mars Concert), this will also appear automatically inside Explorer .if you choose to activate it)

Creating a new experience

Activating an Experience to be seen on Explorer

Follow these steps if you need to learn how to activate an Experience to be shown on Explorer.

1. In the PAM navigation menu, go to 360 Manager > Experiences

2. Select the edit button of an existing Experience.

You will see the same option if you still need to create an experience so selecting [Add Experience] will work as well.

3. Go to the OPTIONS section

4. Activate the [Show this experience on explorer] toggle

5. Click the dropdown and choose from either “hours before” or “days before”

6. Put in a number (i.e. 2) This means the experience will be shown on explorer either 2 hours before or 2 days before it’s start time

Save changes when complete (you will find this if you scroll to the bottom on the lower right-hand side)

Viewing Experiences on Explorer

A QR code is required to gain access into the Explore Explorer map. You can get this inside PAM OS

Steps

1. In the PAM navigation menu, go to 360 Planner > Digital Sign

2. Select DIGITAL SIGN MAP tab

3. Select or search for on the map, search or use the filter section to find an Interactive Kiosk Digital Sign

4. On the right-hand side pop out stay on the GENERAL tab[INSERT PHOTO]

5. Scroll to the bottom and scan the QR code with your smartphone device[INSERT PHOTO]

Now, you should see Explorer load up on your smartphone device. You may need to wait for a moment for it to fully load depending on your smartphone.

6. Click on the Experiences tab (bottom right)
[INSERT PHOTO]We can see there is a number eight because that is how many Experiences you currently have on Explorer.

This is the interface you see when entering into you click on Experiences

7. Experience heading, showing you are on the right section

8. Experience location (this is the general location where that shows all the Experiences that are happening under this one location)

9. Select the filters to show specific Experiences (i.e. clicking on TODAY ALL will show all Experiences happening todaynow and also upcoming ones)

10. Start date Current status of the Experience (i.e. Now on)

11. Experience name

12. Location where Experience is held in. (i.e. AMC theatre Theater Entry 10 is a place that is inside Retail district Hollywood Park District as we saw in Step 8)

Remember that Experiences exist because they have a location is linked to them. Experiences cannot exist if no location is linked with them. If an Experience is upcoming, you still need to ensure that a location is linked even if it will not happen right away.

13. Photo of the Experience (a photo is always needed)

14. The Explore tab lets you click on other general areas that may contain other Experiences which isn’t in the vicinity of a certain area. (If blank, it will remain blank or show a picture of its location instead if it exists)

14. Location filter. Select to activate a location.

[INSERT PHOTO]i.e. We have clicked on Hollywood Park District which means all Experiences that are part of Hollywood Park District will be shown)

Clicking into an Experience

When you click into an Experience (i.e. We have chosen Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness), you will see the following:

1. Status of the Experience (i.e. Now On)

2. Experience name

3. Experience location

4. Click the back button to return to the Experiences page

5. Click the share button to share a link of the Experience you are currently on to a friend.

6. Description of the Experience

7. Selecting [TAKE ME THERE] will give you directions to the Experience location. If your location isn’t shared, you will need to select your starting location.

8. Selecting [FIND OUT MORE] will send you to an external website with more information on that Experience which could include where to buy tickets to the Experience

Connected Experiences

Continue to scroll down and you may see more Experiences listed at the bottom if they have been linked together. Connected Experiences mean that there are similar experiences happening at another location / happening at a different date. This is useful as customers will be aware of other similar experiences that may be suited to their taste.

9. If you have more than one Experience happening at the same location, you can see them here.
This is useful for your customers as they will know what other Experiences are occurring at the venue

10. As an example, let’s click on Wandavision

11. You will see a similar level of detail but with different information as you are now on another experience

12. The original Experience we have clicked on before can be seen at the bottom as part of the Connected Experiences since it has been linked as a similar experience

13. Click on [TAKE ME THERE] to get directions to where Wandavision is happening

14. We can see where the tenant is located on the map. In this example, Sofi Stadium is the location that is hosting this particular experience

15. You will need to select your starting location to be able to generate directions to Sofi Stadium. Alternatively, if you are within the vicinity of the area, you can share your location and it will automatically show directions based on where you currently are
