Introduction

A QR Digital Gateway is a hub that acts as a source of assistance for all visitors in a at your location. Seeing one of these Digital Gateway’s will provide visitors an opportunity to scan a QR code with their smartphone.
The result of this This interaction activates a map on the visitor’s smartphone internet browser which they can then use to find their way around the location.

You are expected to have created a Digital Sign through Map Editor.

3. Find the Digital Sign you have created on the map. You can also do this by searching up the name of the Digital Sign on the left-hand side. The name of the Digital Sign is the dictionary item you gave it when creating the sign in Map Editor.

Hint: All newly created Digital Signs will be a red coloured arrow

4. Click on the sign once located. The right-hand side pop up will appear and we will click on the dropdown

5. Select Digital Gateway from the options

Note

Digital Gateway only appears as an option if the Digital Sign is singular.
If you create a double-sided sign you will not see it as part of your options.

6. A QR code will appear which is the Explorer feature. Scan the QR code with your smartphone.

9. Look back on the map and notice that instead of an arrow, you now have a QR code imageicon. This signifies that this sign is specifically a Digital Gateway sign.
