In this article, we will show you how Connected Experiences work.

The concept of Connected Experiences is having a Main Experience and ‘connecting’ other Experiences that may be related. Having this feature increases customer awareness and engagement that while the experience they attend is happening, there are other experiences available for them to see and enjoy.

Main Experience section

By choosing this section, you will make your current experience (the one you are editing right now) become a sub-experience. This will also disable you from making any sub-experience selections for this experience.

Viewing and Interpreting your Connected Experiences in the Experiences page

Steps

1. In the PAM navigation menu, go to 360 Manager > Experiences

2. These are normal experiences without any Connected Experiences affiliation 3. This is the main experience as indicated by the sub-experiences directly below it

Connected Experiences with a Parent / Child Relationship

View from a Parent Account

GENERAL RULES

  • You can only view child created experiences in the Experiences page.

  • You won’t see other client (child account) created experiences in the Interactive Kiosk or Explorer Map when logged in a parent account

2. Notice that you can see the Connected Experiences of the parent account. We have not linked You cannot link a Connected Experience with the child created experience as the main experience yet in this examplein a child account. However, you can create main and sub experiences with the content inside your child account.

3. You can click on the dropdown to hide the Connected Experiences if you wish

4. You can recognise which experience belongs to another client account (parent account) if they have a black label which is a label of the account name. You will not be able to edit these experiences

5. Experiences belonging to your account won’t have show black labels but will continue to show have status labels (i.e. UPCOMING)

Making Parent / Child Experiences become Connected Experiences

We will show you how to link experiences from different accounts together as long as they have an established parent / child relationship. This means that the accounts need to be linked together to see the changes appear.

2. Select the edit button on an experience. We will edit DALLAS COWBOYS VS LOS ANGELES RAMS

3. Go to the CONNECTED section

4. Choose the sub-experience subexperience tab

5. Click on a child-created experience to be a sub-experience. In this case, we will add LOS ANGELES RAMS SHIRT SIGNING. You can have both Parent and Child created experiences to be a sub-experience

7. You can see the connected experiences now has a child created experience as an established link

8. You can see that the faded out black label (indicates the experience belongs to another account but is currently upcoming) is with the child experience which confirms that the link was established properly

HPKRETAIL Hollywood Park Retail Point of view

You will not be able to establish any link with a Parent created experience. This means that it cannot become a main experience or sub-experience for a child-created experience. For a child account, you will only have normal functionality.

Parent experiences can be viewed in the experiences page but they cannot be edited.

Applying Experiences Filters

This section, we will show you what happens when you click on certain filters on the Experiences page.
This is useful as you have the ability to control which experiences you want to see in a certain status (i.e. active) while the non-active experiences are faded away.

We also have an ARCHIVE filter. Activating that will show all expired experience that have happened in the past.

HINT: You will always need to activate the account name filters (i.e. HOLLYWOOD PARK) and combine it with either one of archive, active or upcoming to show results. If you only activate ACTIVE but don’t activate an account name filter then you will get no results.

Viewing your Connected Experiences on the Interactive Kiosk

Steps
1. In the PAM navigation menu, go to 360 Planner > Digital Signs

2. Select DIGITAL SIGN TAB

3. Select / Search / use the filter option to find an Interactive Kiosk Digital Sign. (They are originally labelled as P 4.2 for Kiosk signs)Click on the sign once located.

4. On the right-hand side pop out, click on the link underneath Sign ID

5. In your new tab, you should see the Interactive Kiosk load up. Click on it.
