In this article, you will learn how to draw Parking Lots in Map Editor. Once you have drawn the parking lots, you will then be able to activate and control ‘status’, ‘availability’ and ‘rates' in Parking Manager. This is elaborated further in this article link here.
Create Parking Lots in Map Editor
Steps
1. In the PAM navigation menu, go to 360 Planner > Map Editor
2. Click on ‘Parking’ on the right-side under ‘Feature Tools’
3. Click on the map to start drawing your parking spot in the area you want.
4. Set Parking as the Type
5. Apply a Dictionary Item for the Parking Lot
6. Label display: Icon only or Icon and Text. This is how it will be displayed in the Interactive Kiosk map.
7. Select children (location) within the parking lot if there are any. By selecting children, you are creating location hierarchy. Learn more about location hierarchy here
8. Activate ‘Hidden (disabled)’ if you wish to hide this location from the Interactive Kiosk Map but don’t want to delete it yet
9. Activate ‘Locked’ to lock the location which makes it unmovable in Map Editor
10a. Add custom display point (use this tool to control where your logo or label sits within the location)
10b. After clicking on custom display point, you are able to move the logo/text within the Parking Lot location
11. Save changes
Open the Interactive Kiosk Map to preview the latest changes
12. In the PAM navigation menu, go to 360 Planner > Digital signs
13. Select Digital Sign Map tab
14. Click on an Interactive Kiosk Digital Sign (usually starts with 4.2 / the layout needs to say Interactive Kiosk)
15. Open up SignID
16. A new tab will open and you can view the latest changes in the Interactive Kiosk.

HINT: Please remember to always save changes no matter how small AND if other pages are opened in different tabs, you must refresh them for the changes to be seen.
For example, in this article, the user may have Map Editor and Digital Signs opened in different tabs. When Map Editor changes have been saved, the Digital Signs tab needs to be refreshed to see the new changes.
