In this article, users will be introduced to the duplicate scenes feature, why it was implemented and how it works.

Intro to duplicate scenes

Duplicate scenes is a feature which allows users to duplicate an existing scene to create a new scene that will inherit all information from the scene used.

...

As an example, a user may want a new scene closely identical in content to an existing scene but with minor changes. If a completely new scene was to be created from scratch, this would be labour intensive and time-consuming. By introducing duplicate scenes, a user can duplicate an existing scene and make changes to the content in the duplicated scene without having to touch existing scenes.

How to duplicate a scene

As a user, you will first go to the Scenes page where you will see all existing scenes.
