Creating a dictionary category

All types of digital sign identifiers will use the same dictionary category

The user will need to create a category before creating destination dictionaries.

1. On the PAM Navigation board menu go to Dictionary > Categories

3. Fill in the CODE in Identifier, e.g. Signs

4. Fill in the Description, e.g. Dictionary Sign Identifiers

5. Save changes

Creating a new destination dictionary

A user needs to create a Destination Dictionary for EACH Digital Sign Identifier they require.
Normally the sign would have an identifier.

1. On the PAM navigation board, go to Dictionary > Destination Dictionary

2. Click on [+ NEW DICTIONARY ITEM]

3. Fill in Display Copy: If this is yourfirst interactive kiosk, name it 'Interactive Kiosk IK 001'

4. Fill in Dictionary Category as SIGNS Digital Signs Identifiers (this was explained above)

5. User can activate 'Unique destination'. If enabled, it allows a user to assign the dictionary item to 1 location only

6. Enable 'Available to navigation maps'. If enabled, this will enable a user to assign the location to a digital sign

7. Option to enable Hide from search. If enabled, this will disable the Digital Sign from being searchable

8. Save changes
