In this article, users will learn how to create Parking Lots and assign dictionary items in Map Editor.


To proceed with this article, users are expected to have:

Create Parking Lots in Map Editor

Steps

1. In the PAM navigation board, go to 360 Manager > Map Editor

2. Click on ‘Parking’ on the right-side under ‘Feature Tools’

3. Click on the map to select the appropriate parking lot spot.


4. Set Parking as the feature-type

5. Assign the location to the dictionary item that contains your logo

6. Label display: Icon only (this will show the parking icon on the map)

7. Go to 'Children' and select all locations (children) within the area (parent)
e.g. ‘Parking’ feature-type can be a parent of 'Area' feature-type.

8. Activate ‘Hidden (disabled)’

9. Activate ‘locked’

10a. Add custom display point (use this tool to control where your logo or label sits within the location)


10b. After clicking on custom display point, you can move the logo/text on the building around

11. Save changes


Open Interactive Kiosk to preview changes. (Go to 360 Manager > Digital Signs)
