In this article, we will show you the process on submitting a request for getting a 3D model created for your account for usage inside PAM.


Please read the requirements on what PAM requires for 3D models

  • 3D models have to be in a .glb file

  • Colour can be included on the model

  • The file should be built to scale. (e.g. If a building 10 meters tall in real life should be built 10 meters in 3D software)

  • Recommended sizes for the 3D model

    • Large - 500kb - 350kb (architectural models, stadium, bridge, opera house)

    • Medium - 100kb - branding, landmarks, logos, smaller building structures (stage)

    • Small - 50kb - vegetation, decorative material, small objects.


Submitting a 3D model request

Steps

You will need to have an account to access our PAM support helpdesk portal


1. Go into https://mediabankpam.atlassian.net/servicedesk/customer/portals

If you are asked to log-in, please use the same log-in details you used when you were invited into the support portal.

If you are unable to log-in because your account doesn’t exist, you will need to contact your Administrator for assistance to be able to receive an invite to access the PAM portal.

2. Scroll to the bottom and click on [Need to raise a request? Contact us] section

This will load into a new page

3. Select [Request a 3D model build]

Fill out the corresponding information

4. Raise this request on behalf of: You put in your name as you are the one creating the request

5. Include a name for your request (i.e. Requesting for a 3D model of a building)

6. Fill out the description with any relevant information

7. Include any attachments that may help with this request

8. Include an estimated due date if you are time-constraint

9. Select [Send] to submit your request

10. Check your email account (the email you used to log into the support portal) and you will receive a ticket confirming that your request went through.

Once you receive the confirmation request, the way to track the progress of your request is to look into the ticket / get notifications of your progress.
