In this article, users will be configuring the settings for the Distance Ring which will show within Kiosk.


What is the Distance Ring used for?

The distance ring will provide the user a visual guide on walking distance based on the current location of the kiosk.

Please be aware that when the distance ring configuration settings are changed, these changes will apply to all the kiosks in the location as the distance ring is a universal feature for all kiosks.

Configuring your Distance Ring Settings

Steps

1. In the PAM navigation menu, go to Settings

2. Click on the tab Map Styles and Configuration on the left side panel

3. Click on the DISTANCE RING tab

4. Set Distance Ring Configuration

4a. Time refers to the visual guide on walking distance based on the time set

4b. Zoom refers to the different levels of zoom at which the distance ring will adjust to show different walking time

The default settings for time and zoom are:

  1. Time - 1 and Zoom - 17

  2. Time - 3 and Zoom - 16.3

  3. Time - 5 and Zoom - 14.5

  4. Time - 15 and Zoom - 12

5. Colours refer to setting the text and ring label colours for both dark and light mode when viewed on the kiosk

6. Save changes

Dark mode
