Introduction
Firstly, the user will need to create a dictionary item for Parking Lots. If the user hasn’t created one, follow the steps below before proceeding to creating parking lots:
Category dictionary:
Create a new category
Name it ‘PARKING - Parking’ (Use this category for all your parking lots)
Save
Destination Dictionary:
Create a new destination dictionary
Name it Parking
Select the ‘PARKING’ category
Deactivate ‘unique destination’
Deactivate ‘Hide from Search’
Assign parking icons
Save
Create Parking Lots in Map Editor
Select ‘Parking’ feature type tool in the toolbar (right side panel)
Draw the parking area
Assign dictionary item ‘Parking’
Label display: Icon only (this will show the parking icon on the map)

Parking Manager
- Go to parking manager (360 manager)
- Select parking lot/multi-level carpark
- To activate you need to switch from open → closed → open
- Choose what type of parking
- Set available space, rates etc
- Save

a.To be able to extrude the height of the multi-level carpark:
- Create one new destination dictionary for all the buildings in your map and name it 'Carpark Structure'
- Not a unique destination and save
b. Apply the steps below to ALL your buildings in your location:
- Select feature type → ‘free-form/landscape’
- Assign “Carpark Structure” as the destination dictionary
- Label display choose: none
- Tick ‘override extrude’ and set the height of the carpark in metres (Guide 3 Metres is usually 1 story building)
- Tick ‘Start extrude height’ and set as 0 (start extrude height allows you to create a space between the ground and your building. This is a great tool for building bridges between 2 buildings. ex. You can start your building 2 metres above the ground.
